Abortion cost - private patients
You can access our services as a private patient if you are not eligible for funded healthcare in New Zealand.
All patients are required to have a nurse consultation:
Nurse consultation
$450.00
Following your nurse consultation, if you wish to proceed with an abortion, the additional costs are:
Early medical abortion – Telemed
$650.00
Early medical abortion – In-Clinic
$650.00
Sugical abortion
$1,050.00
You are required to get a blood test to confirm your pregnancy before your nurse consultation. There will be additional costs charged by the lab to get your bloods taken. Similarly, if you are required to get an ultrasound, this will also cost extra. Please contact your preferred ultrasound provider for the costs. We do what we can to keep the costs low for you by only ordering the tests that you need.
